Guest presenter: Nancy Goodman Lawrence
Nancy Goodman Lawrence is an award-winning Los Angeles painter and collage artist whose work has been exhibited nationally, as well as locally.
Nancy spent many years painting before encountering collage as a kind of happy accident while doing an art project with children. It then became her primary medium. Her work is figurative and has been shown in numerous exhibits, most recently, “Road Maps: Collages by Nancy Goodman Lawrence,” at Pierce College. She has won many awards, including the Women Painters West Award in the recent show, “Life Speaking to Life.” Her work will be featured in an upcoming book, Collage, Assemblage and Altered Art, by Diane Maurer.
