Please join us at our next meeting as a guest! Introduce yourself, get to meet some of us and share our passion for collage. As a guest you will pay a $5 admission fee (if you join CAA that day, the $5 is applied to the annual fee).

Scholarships

To maintain our ties to the community and to promote the study of collage, each year CAA awards a scholarship to a deserving high school art student. All proceeds from the raffle and second-chance table benefit the Scholarship Fund.

Become a member of Collage Artists of America (CAA) and enjoy the following benefits:

Meetings

Collage Artists of America (CAA) holds five meetings a year at which renowned guest artists bring current works and present stimulating programs including slides and demonstrations. Some recent speakers have included Gerald Brommer, Katherine Chang Liu, George Herms, Wayne Hoffman, and Tom Jenkins.

In addition to a wonderful presentation from a guest presenter, a raffle is held with art supplies for the lucky winners. In addition, our guest artists also often donate an original work to a very lucky winner!

Members may also find a treasure at the second-chance table, where a variety of magazines and art materials are made available at bargain prices.

Exhibits

Two or more exhibits are held each year at galleries, universities and/or museums. A qualified artist from outside CAA juries for selection and awards. (New members are immediately eligible to participate in exhibits.)

Workshops

CAA also presents workshops at which members study with a visiting artist. These classes are extremely popular and are open to both members and prospective members.

Newsletter

The CAA newsletter brings notice of meetings, programs, announcements of all issues of interest to the members, and the prospectus for the next scheduled exhibit. (The most recently newsletter can be downloaded from a link on our Home page.)

Free Web Link

Members who maintain their own artist websites are eligible to receive a free link to their website from our Artists page. In return, we ask that you place a reciprocal link to the CAA website in your Links section.
